Senior Business Analyst

We're looking for highly professional, highly skilled and motivated individuals who'd relish the challenge of providing Management Reporting and Business Analyst services to a variety of world-class companies.

Reporting to the Principal Business Analyst, you'll be involved directly in working on client consulting assignments, with responsibility for ensuring these are delivered on time, on budget, and in accordance with our spreadsheet modelling best practices.

The ideal person for this role will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Highly developed skills in Excel, financial modelling, VBA and finance or accounting are mandatory. VLOOKUP is not an advanced function for you!
  • Confidence in providing the highest quality professional service to a wide client base. This role involves extensive client contact so highly-developed written and verbal English communication skills with staff and managers at all levels are essential.
  • Several years' experience in a Management Reporting or Business Analyst position working heavily in the areas of developing and redeveloping Excel models.
  • CPA/CA or other related postgraduate qualifications.
  • A friendly personality with the natural ability to form strong relationships with clients.
  • An extensive network of business contacts.

Business Development Manager

Who we are

Located on Adelaide Tce, Access Analytic is a leading, referral-based, consulting company that specialises in providing business analyst tools and services to companies that value financial expertise and need to make decisions with confidence.

Our consulting services include Excel-based financial modelling, management reporting, and spreadsheet auditing. We provide a range of training options in each of these areas including in-house courses, open learning, conference presentations and individual mentoring.

In addition to our consulting services, we have recently been appointed value-added resellers (VAR) for key software packages in the areas of financial modelling and management reporting.

Access Analytic’s clients include many high-profile companies such as: Chevron, BankWest, NAB, Glencore, The Alcock Brown-Neaves Group, RentSmart, Lend Lease and Midland Brick.

All employees have access to an on-site pool, gym, sauna, pool table and parking.

BDM Opportunity

Given our recent VAR appointments and success in the training market, we have created the new role of Business Development Manager to focus on developing our training and software markets.

The Business Development Manager (“BDM”) has two key responsibilities:

  • Maintain strong, profitable relationships between Access Analytic and its clients and distributors that lead to repeat business and referrals
  • Develop new relationships that result in additional sales revenue

The BDM will have significant autonomy and influence, working closely with the Managing Director and Marketing Director. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong network of existing relationships which can be utilised to generate work.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-generate leads and warm referrals.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong, lasting relationships with clients.
  • Initiative to develop and refine the sales process and sales presentation materials.
  • Confidence to engage decision makers at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to consult with clients and contacts to gain an intimate understanding of their internal operations and match client needs to capabilities.
  • A background in finance, banking or accounting and a high level of English proficiency.
  • A willingness to travel overseas and interstate if required.
