Intellectual Property

Our intellectual property policy is designed to protect the investments made by both our clients and us.

Here is our policy with regard to work we perform on behalf of clients:

	Access Analytic acknowledges that its clients own all intellectual property related to their business models, business systems, and other related procedures. Access Analytic treats all such material and knowledge as private and confidential to its clients.
	Access Analytic retains intellectual property over all code used in client projects. This may include code that we wrote prior to a specific project, and any new code that is written during a project. We may utilise any code component in other projects at our discretion.
	Clients are not permitted to sell or otherwise distribute the applications we develop nor individual components without our written authorisation.

In summary, Access Analytic has developed significant libraries of multi-purpose code that may be used to expedite client projects. Our intellectual property policy is designed to protect our investment in these libraries.

In many cases, we may also write new code components, formulas, and custom functions for our clients. Our intellectual property policy is constructed so that we are not prevented from using the new components in future projects.

To protect the interests of our clients however, our clients have full use of the system developed as per above.
